All of the wood I use is FSC certified, meaning it comes from responsibly managed forests. I also source my wood locally from an Amsterdam lumberyard to reduce my environmental impact.

They’re a very close match, however the seats are woven with organic died cotton, which is a natural material that can vary in color slightly. I embrace these variations as part of the charm of handmade products.

Since each product is custom made to order, I am unable to accept returns or exchanges. However, if there is any defect with your bench, I will of course work with you to rectify the issue.

Yes, I am happy to customize your bench with a different type of wood or colour of weave. Just contact me for a quote.

The weave on the bench is treated with a light moisture resistant coating, however if the bench will be in a heavy use area, or is likely to get splashed, I highly recommend protecting it with an appopriate spray fabric protector.

The cotton weave can be spot-cleaned with soap and warm water. Avoid using bleach-based products as this will stain the colouring of the cord.

All of the hardwood has been oiled to protect it from scratches, however you may want to dust it once in a while with a clean cloth to prevent dust getting trapped in the weave. Any light scratches can be buffed out using light sandpaper and furniture oil.
